Jangen Education Initiative is a non-profit citizen based group with the belief that, for society to prosper in the face of degrading social values, mass education is a requirement. The Initiative will be run as a non-governmental organisation that enrolls the least likely in our society into a quality educational institution to receive an education from primary school level through to university.
The expected outcome of the Jangen Education Initiative is individuals with essential skills and knowledge to contribute to the improvement of the human condition and societal progress.
Pictured is one of our beneficiaries, Fatima Mohammed. She was the best pupil in primary 1 in Bako primary school Yola. Jangen initiative enrolled her in Suleiman Ribadu Academy, a renowned private school, after she passed the entrance exam into the school. She has been performing quite well since her enrolment.
At Jangen we prioritise educating female children such as Fatima. This is important because doing this can have a ripple effect on educating generations to come.
We are building a system where well to do citizens can give back to society through educating hard working less privileged individuals in our communities.
We select the best students in public schools and enrol them into a better qualitative education in private/public schools.
Our process are transparently structured from start to end. From the utilization of donors funds to selecting of students and partnership with schools.
We ensure our student's progress in school is sustained.
Our donors have the choice to choose the frequency they want to put individuals into school.
